Get A Stock Trading Newsletter Right For You

By Michael Swanson

A stock trading newsletter is available to people who subscribe to receive them from a website that is devoted to stock trading. While some are available for free, other websites charge to email the newsletter to subscribers.

You will need to research the different newsletters carefully to find those that offer the type of information and assistance that you need. This will largely depend on your experience, trading goals and strategies.

What sort of information can you expect a stock trading newsletter to provide? Daily newsletters tend to provide information based on analysis of the previous day's trading. Weekly newsletters may be sent on a Monday or a Friday, and give information of upcoming events and highlights as well as an analysis of the past week's action. A monthly newsletter is likely to contain more general information, trends and events of interest to stock traders.

Some stock trading newsletters will be technical, some will be tactical and others may provide basic training and tips for successful trading. You will be able to access information on short-term trading opportunities and volatile stocks that will place you in a position to take advantage of rapid movements in the market. Some websites have specific trading strategies that are shared with subscribers to their newsletter.

The newsletters that you decide to subscribe to will be dependent on your experience in stock trading. For the beginner, look for websites that are designed for those starting out in the market to gain valuable learning and understanding of different strategies and trading concepts. For those who have had some experience of trading and have a clear understanding of the basics, look for newsletters that give you tips for maximizing trading concepts, analysis of different concepts and help in improving the profitability of your portfolio.

There are many benefits to subscribing to a stock trading newsletter, but beware of the ones that are loaded with advertising and unnecessary fillers. You need valuable, usable information that will help you improve the profits from your portfolio. - 23223

Investing in China The Key Secret

By Michael Swanson

Following over 20 years of minimal to no growth, the Chinese economy is finally reaching the potential predicted by many financial analysts in the mid nineteen eighties. As a result, many Hedge Fund managers and portfolio stock companies are looking to the East and for ways to invest in China.

Early investors are obviously reaping the benefits from the manufacture and distribution of fundamentals such as clothing and computers. Furniture too is a profitable investment; though this has been checked somewhat by recent stories of spurious materials and the consumer effect of moving towards "greener" and home grown manufacture.

Conversely, (and possibly the best market to consider when looking at viable opportunities to invest in China), is within the toy industry. The culture of the western world to pander to its offspring shows no signs of abating any time soon. That the most popular toys can be produced in high numbers, at low cost makes for a great investment.

Other opportunities do of course exist, with more coming online all the time. There are still excellent deals to be traded with oil production and consumption, for those now looking to invest in China. Coal too is bucking global trends as China easily becomes the world's biggest producers and consumers in the dirty fossil fuel.

For those looking for a greener, and more responsible investment, the huge railway project could be attractive. Already one of the best in the world, (in metropolis areas anyway), the Chinese government recognize the benefits of mass public transportation clearly. With contracts passed to western companies as much as Chinese tenders, this really could be a clever investment.

Before rushing out to Beijing to invest in China however, do be warned. Resilience, determination and a sense of bravery will be called for as the Chinese economy, (as with any other fledging market), can be volatile and prove unsteady; particularly as the world continues to ride the global recession. - 23223

Forex Trading Made EZ - My Experience With It

By Micheal Bates

When I first started trading and investing in the currency markets, I had a bit of beginner's luck. This initial success caused me to think I understood more than I actually did, so I continued to try to make money on my own.

Beginner's luck doesn't usually last, though, and I was no exception. I decided to learn more, so I explored online Forex training programs, specifically Forex Trading Made E Z.

After completing this course, my financial situation changed dramatically for the better. Without this course, I can only imagine in what tough money situation I would be in right now. There are many other graduates of the program that have expressed similar beliefs about the effect of the program.

There are many reasons why this program is perfect for the new investor. After spending about a week on the course material, including the books and videos, you should be ready to begin trading.

The other reason the Forex Trading Made E Z course was perfect for a beginner was that it is a low risk high reward system. Losing money on trades is a rarity with the system, and even the few losing trades were small and easy to overcome.

This method of trading is called "Forex Scalping." Simply put, when using Forex Scalping you enter the market and leave it again very quickly, usually on the same day. Your investment usually makes a five percent return using this strategy.

Five percent might sound like a small number, but with so few losing trades and the ability to get these gains repeatedly in a short time, in a month's time that five percent return can easily compound to 200% return on investment.

Because of the reasons mentioned above, I highly recommend Forex Trading Made E Z. It has positively impacted my financial situation. I suggest you try it out for yourself, and see if it is something you might be interested in. Just think, you have surely wasted fifteen minutes in your life waiting in the checkout line, or sitting in traffic, than reading a little about this great program. - 23223

What Is Breakout Fading? (Part I)

By Ahmad Hassam

Fading breakouts refers to trading against breakouts when you believe that the currency prices will not be able to follow through action in the direction of the breakout. We fade breakouts when we believe that breakouts from support and resistance levels to be false and unsustainable.

False breakouts are a bane for breakout traders but boon for breakout faders. False breakouts are also known as fakeouts. Fading breakouts tends to be more effective as a short term strategy. Fading breakout is not meant to be a long term strategy.

Support level attracts the buyers enthusiasm for higher bids. It prevents the price from falling further. The resistance level attracts the sellers enthusiasm for shorting and it prevents the price action from advancing higher. Support and resistance are seen as the price floor and the price ceiling respectively.

The idea of trading breakouts appeals to many independent traders especially those new to currency trading. The crowd likes to trade the breakout. It is perfectly logical for the crowd to think that if the support level is penetrated, then the price action should move downward. The crowd is more likely to sell than to buy when the price action breaks the support level from above.

The crowd is more likely to buy than to sell when the price action breaks the resistance level from below. The opposite is true of a price break above the resistance level. The crowd usually concludes that if the resistance is broken, then the prices are more likely to advance higher in the rally.

You will find clusters of stop loss orders placed by traders who have brought near the support level or have sold near the resistance level. Now you can also understand why there tends to be large number of entry stop orders placed just above a resistance level and also placed just below a support level.

Short positions will be stopped out when the price action breaks out above the resistance level. Similarly, when the currency prices crosses below the support level, long positions will be stopped out.

Why most breakouts fail? One of the most important reasons why most breakouts fail is due to the fact that smart traders need to take the money from the novice and inexperience traders. The majority will cash out of the trading game broke. Always remember, it does not always pay to have the same mentality as the crowd.

Smart money belongs to the big players who have a couple of tricks to sabotage the crowd. The crowd holds the dumb money with the weak hands. Money has to be made from the majority. Not from the minority who got it right and know how to play the games.

It causes vertical rallies or declines when the crowd scrambles to get out of their losing positions. Most money is made when the crowd turns out to be wrong. Read Part II for more on Breakout Fading. - 23223

Types Of Foreclosure Scams

By Doc Schmyz

Home foreclosure is becoming a far more common problem now then it was just a few years ago. Often it originates from one missed payment which soon spirals out of control. Before you know it you have missed three or four payments and the mortgage lender or bank wants you to pay everything you owe all at once, right then and there. Often this is a major burden to the homeowner and in the end they must decide on some sort of plan of action...this is normally where one can fall for a scam.

Foreclosure scams are very common as much as the problem itself. Since homeowners believe that they have no choice they fall for these traps, which of course make their situation much worse than it was.

The people who work these scams advertise online, publish advertisements in the local newspaper, distribute flyers, and call houses which are included on the foreclosure list. Sometimes they call themselves "mortgage consultants/real estate investment planners" who offer foreclosure services or advertise with "We buy houses" signs.

Some of the more common scams.

Foreclosure Bankruptcy Scam

The promise here is that the house will be saved. In return they will either ask for the homeowner to pay their mortgage directly to them, hand over their deed and pay rent, or obtain refinancing. of course they don't do ANYTHING to fulfill the other end of the bargain, they don't contact your lender or obtain refinancing for you. They keep all the money and file bankruptcy without your knowledge.

Since the homeowner is not aware that bankruptcy has been filed, they fail to participate in the case. The case is dismissed and the house continues onto foreclosure. Apart from loosing money and your home, you will also have a bankruptcy on your record.

"Skimming" or also called Equity skimming

The scam operator poses as a buyer. They then promise the homeowner to pay the mortgage or given them a sum of money once the property has been sold. The operator then convinces the homeowner to sign over the deed and move out. The homeowner can stay but they have to pay rent. If they opt to move out the operator lets a third party rent the property. The scam operator of course does not pay the mortgage and lets the mortgage lender foreclose.

In the event the house has equity, the scam operator sells the property and pays off the debt. (And of course keeps the equity that the homeowner could have had if they sold it.)

Should you find yourself facing ANY of the above mentioned situations....contact a local mortgage office and ask them if they have ever heard of a "program" like the one you would be offered...if they say no....call the local police and ask for the consumer fraud division. - 23223
